I am a highly experienced learning and organisation development manager and consultant, performance improvement facilitator and executive coach. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and have a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. As a learning and development practitioner, teams under my leadership have been short-listed in the Learning and Development Category of the CIPD People Management Awards in both 2008 and 2009. I believe that learning is an investment activity and that it is possible to design both the learning function and the programmes and interventions that it delivers in such a way that they provide a measurable performance improvement (return on investment) every time they are utilised. I also believe that learning is the key to both personal and organisational performance and growth.

As a coach, I am qualified with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and a graduate of the Ashridge Business School, Coaching for Organisation Consultants programme. A lifetime student of social science and organisational behaviour, I believe in working with each individual to surface and implement their personal, bespoke pathway to fulfilment and success. A certified psychometrics practitioner with the British Psychological Society, I have access to a range of psychometric-based development tools, including the Facet 5 personality profile and EQ-i® (Emotional Quotient-Inventory). The average return on investment for my coaching clients over the last year is over £8,000.

As a performance improvement facilitator and evaluator, I am a ground-breaking practitioner in the field of return on investment (ROI) evaluation; I designed the Bullseye coaching evaluation model; co-designed the Escalator learning evaluation model; and I am a founding member and Director of Facilitator.org.uk Ltd. I believe that targeted investment in learning, and an organisation’s human capital, is the most cost-effective and sustainable route to improved performance and long-term competitive advantage.
