You must flow like water. Learn to ‘let go’ in order to flow with the situation.
– Master Choi Kok Sui –

During my 32 year police career, I was promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent. I gained broad experience in all aspects of tactical and strategic police management. For the last four and a half years of my service I worked at the Centrex Leadership Academy for Policing (now the National Policing Improvement Agency). My strengths lie in developing, facilitating and evaluating learning in the fields of leadership, diversity, performance management, organisational change, management and command within the public and private sectors.

I am qualified in a number of psychometric instruments and tools that includes Apter Motivational styles, Myers Briggs (Levels 1, 2 and teams), Belbin Teams, 16PF, Firo B and the Hay EI 360 degree profile. I am a qualified performance coach and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. My work has taken me to South America, Abu Dhabi, Yemen, China, Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Italy, America, Macedonia and Qatar.

My Favourite quote is: “A leader is best when people barely know he exists, not so good when people obey and acclaim him, worse when they despise him. But of a good leader who talks little when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: We did it ourselves.” Lao-Tzu.

Quite simply leading and managing today requires great flexibility and effort to help your people through change and deliver the best results possible to achieve success.
