'Shift' (change) is inevitable in modern organisational life; it has increased exponentially in recent times and is predicted to do so as far as futurologists can predict.  So we believe people and organisations need to be effective at learning not simply to live with change as a passive victim, but to somehow get on with it actively. Transformation only happens one person at a time, and we can help people, teams and organisations to learn to live more comfortably with change and, better still, to bring it about effectively.

The good news is that patterns of change are consistent in their impact on people and performance – messy, sometimes apparently contrary,  but consistent.  The first step in getting along with change is to 'say yes to the mess', and seek to understand the patterns of behaviour in the systems that underpin organisations.  There is no absolute guarantee of success, but if change is better understood by people at every organisation level  and key principles built into the system more good things happen than bad!

We work with individuals and organisations to help them to understand how change works, encouraging them to embrace as an inescapable reality and to overcome personal and organisational barriers to doing something meaningful about it.  We support them in recognising what is really going on in their environment (causes not symptoms) and in coming together to experiment with processes and systems that maximise the chance of achieving successful and sustainable transitions.  We can offer a number of tools and techniques, but more importantly, common sense and wisdom about what works and what doesn’t.  Contact us to find out more about this service.
